Cowboy Fever by Joanne Kennedy is a western romance with heart. You can't help but root for Jodi and Teague from the first page. The relationship with Teague's older brother--who has down syndrome-- adds an extra-special layer of sweetness to this love story. There's plenty of sizzle and several laugh out loud moments. The only character I couldn't stand was Courtney. The annyoing "Cowboy Barbie" type of floosie who is constantly throwing herself at Teague. I wanted to throttle her at sevearl points for getting in the way. It's an engaging and enthralling story from the first page to the last. The characters come to life for the reader and you feel as if you really know these people.You should also read Cowboy Trouble. 
And most definitely read the RITA Nominated One Fine Cowboy.
