Anytime I release a new book I get nervous. But when it’s the first book in a brand new series and a brand new genre…I am extra apprehensive. Will my paranormal readers come along for the ride? If they do, will they love it or hate it? Will I find new readers, those who adore men in uniform and sexy contemporary romance, or are their TBR piles too full for a new-to-them- author?
Eeep! All of that, and more, goes through my overloaded and sometimes neurotic brain.

I sure hope readers are as enthusiastic about The McGuire Brothers series as this reviewer is. Now, I know it’s just one person’s opinion but it still makes me happy. It’s a combination of professional validation and personal triumph. All that aside, the bigger question is…Will readers love it and tell their romance loving friends to pick it up? I sure hope so.
